Shinbone Alley - A Pete Felten Documentary
So grateful we had this time with Pete. My sister, Ashley, and an awesome film maker, Jordan Horsch drove all around my hometown of Hays, Kansas getting shots of every limestone sculpture we could and threw a little impromptu gathering at Pete’s Stone Gallery, where he carved every day. Anyways, Pete passed away peacefully last night, with his good pal Bruce Burkholder by his side. None of this was possible without Bruce, and really Jordan did all the work. Also, gotta thank the Hays Arts Council for sharing a bunch of footage to include, too. It’s so cool we’ll always have this and my home town has got Pete’s name carved all over it. Rest in peace, Pete.
